WHO WE ARE – BAD DOG CUSTOM GUITARS
Bad Dog Custom Guitars is an electric guitar workshop dedicated to the construction, finishing, relicing, and assembly of instruments inspired by the legacy of Leo Fender.
We work on the principles that made the original guitars great:
Simple designs, carefully chosen woods, nitrocellulose finishes, and setups designed for playing. We don't reinterpret that legacy: we respect it and apply it.
Bad Dog was born from a passion for the guitar and the fact that those of us who work here are guitarists. We know how an instrument should respond in our hands, in the rehearsal room, and on stage.
Our work is based on doing things right, without rushing and without mass production. Each guitar is assembled and adjusted as if it were for ourselves, seeking comfort, stability, and an honest sound.
Bad Dog Custom Guitars does not aim to reinvent the electric guitar.
Our goal is to do it the way it should always have been done.

Respect for
original design
The electric guitar was already well thought out. We started with Leo Fender's legacy and worked on his concepts: simplicity, functionality, and sound. We didn't add anything that didn't make sense.
Make guitars like
if they were for us
Each guitar is crafted as if it were for ourselves. Same criteria, same standards, and no shortcuts that we wouldn't accept on our own instrument.
The guitar is meant to be played
Everything we do—finishing, assembly, adjustment—has a single purpose: to ensure the guitar functions well, is comfortable, and responds as it should. Aesthetics never take precedence over the instrument.
